RESEARCH OF THE INFLUENCES OF HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT AND WINDOW-WALL RATIO ON ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF OFFICE BUILDINGS IN SEVERE COLD REGIONS

Taking an office building in Harbin as an example, the orthogonal test method is used in the simulate experiment. In the course of the experiment, EnergyPlus is used to study four factors, such as heat transfer coefficients about window, wall and roof and the window-wall ratio. The energy consumption of buildings under different combination conditions is calculated. Based on the results, variance analysis was used to analyze the correlation coefficient of the heat transfer coefficient and the window-wall ratio of the exterior envelope to the heating, cooling and total energy consumption of office buildings. Then the paper puts forward the design strategy of office buildings in severe cold regions and the conclusion that the building cooling energy consumption should be taken into consideration separately in the energy saving design and research of office buildings in severe cold regions.
